Genoa coach Ballardini: We deserved victory against Cagliari

Genoa coach Davide Ballardini says they deserved their 3-2 victory over Cagliari.

Genoa sealed a 3-2 win in Sardinia, recovering from two goals down and scoring three in the last 30 minutes.

“A great victory against a strong team. We aren't settled yet, we have changed so much and several players arrived at the end of the transfer window," Ballardini told DAZN.

“During the week we work a lot and that's a merit.

“This year, since we started with the full team very late, it can take a while to settle. With Napoli we did not make any change from the tactical point of view.

“The advantage is that we are very serious, we are very committed and we are predisposed to do so much. Everyone is working hard."
