Genoa are very busy on the transfer market, securing Giorgio Cittadini from Atalanta and Sheriff Tiraspol striker David Ankeye, while Pablo Galdames heads to Vasco da Gama.
The Grifone announced the arrival of Cittadini on loan until the end of the season, without an option to make it permanent.
The defender had been at Monza so far this term, but interrupted that experience to get more regular playing time at Genoa.
He is effectively the replacement for Radu Dragusin, who was sold to Tottenham Hotspur earlier this month.
Meanwhile, Sky Sport Italia also confirm a deal is done with Sheriff Tiraspol for striker Ankeye, purchased for circa €2.5m.
The 21-year-old Nigerian scored eight goals in 25 appearances for Sheriff this season.
As he is a non-EU player, Genoa had to free up a space, which will be achieved with the transfer of Chile international Galdames to Brazilian side Vasco da Gama.
His contract was due to expire in June anyway.
