The Curva Sud are preparing to protest again during AC Milan’s fixture this weekend. However, the protests will be different to the ones that have taken place in recent weeks.

Before the game against Genoa, the group announced that they would be protesting against Milan’s management, in an attempt to remind the management of the importance of the decisions they will make this summer.

The 2022 summer window was unfulfilling, and for the money that the Rossoneri spent, their return was not great. Nevertheless, the 2023 summer mercato offered much more, and the arrivals of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Christian Pulisic and Tijjani Reijnders have inspired the side a lot this season.

This must be repeated, though, and that was the message sent by the Curva ahead of the Genoa fixture, and it was again repeated in the fixture against Cagliari, with the group claiming that it was a ‘desperate cry of love’.

Ahead of this weekend’s fixture, Gazzetta dello Sport writes that the group will again protest, but only for 45 minutes – during the first half.

This season has seen the club earn a second-place finish, but it has not been a year of positivity. Eliminations from Europe and humiliation in the Derby della Madonnina have left a bitterly sour taste in the mouth, which is why the Curva Sud are aiming to remind the club of the required standards.

However, in the second half, normality will resume, and the group will celebrate Stefano Pioli, Simon Kjaer and Olivier Giroud on their final showings for the club.
