AC Milan’s interest in Spezia defender Jakub Kiwior is still very much alive after the links in the summer, according to a report.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the recent links came from Warsaw in his native Poland and have been pushed a lot by the local media, as they claimed that Kiwior has already found an agreement with the Rossoneri ahead of the winter mercato.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are admirers of the 22-year-old centre-back, can play as a left-back and a defensive midfielder in addition to his preferred role of centre-back. He made his full debut for Spezia against Inter last season and never looked back, starting 23 games from December onwards.

Kiwior speaks Slovenian, French and Italian, learned thanks to the help of his compatriot Arkadiusz Reca, a fellow full-back at Spezia. His idol is Sergio Ramos and he is an ice hockey enthusiast too, as per the paper.

He stands at 1.90m tall and is left-footed, so he would give Milan something a bit different in that regard. In the summer he said no to West Ham, as he confirmed, and in June 2022 Kiwior made his debut with Poland.

Former sporting director Pecini is the one that brought Kiwior from Žilina in Slovakia to Spezia, and he is the same person who brought Skriniar to Sampdoria, before selling him to Inter. Could Kiwior follow his path, but end up on the red side of Milano?
