The future of striker Pietro Pellegri continues to cause some confusion and speculation, but Torino are reportedly keen on signing him this month.

Pellegri arrived at Milan from Monaco in the summer via a loan with option to buy formula but he is yet to score a goal for the Rossoneri having suffered more injury problems, something which has plagued him since his emergence at Genoa and move to France as a teenager.

The 21-year-old still has time on his side though and he is waiting to return to the field after the muscular problem he sustained against Salernitana, but there is no shortage of rumours about his future being away from Milan.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Torino would like to loan Pellegri until the end of the season and Milan are willing to let him leave, but first they will have to sign him from permanently from Monaco.

If they were to do that it would certainly open some questions as to how they see the future for the Italy U21 international, such as whether they believe he will become a part of the first team squad or if the intention is to sell him on for profit.
