Ante Rebic scored against Juventus for the third game in a row as the Bianconeri are fast becoming his favourite opponent.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes that Stefano Pioli is obviously hoping to have Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud back soon, with the former out due to Achilles tendon inflammation while the Frenchman did not play against Juve last night due to a back problem.

However, Rebic has now started the last three games up front and has two goals plus two assists to show for it, meaning Pioli can sleep quite peacefully. The Croatian confirmed that he is one of the fittest players, not demonstrating the fatigue that might be expected after tough games against Lazio and Liverpool.

Despite not being a natural striker, Rebic is not making the team feel the absence Ibra and Giroud, whose recovery times are still uncertain. While waiting for the others to recover, Pioli can lean on a man who always seems to pop up in the big occasions.
