GdS: Pioli set to make Milan defensive change for Inter clash

AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli is set to make a defensive change for the derby against Inter with Simon Kjaer coming into the starting eleven, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News), the Danish midfielder is expected to be named alongside Pierre Kalulu for the Derby della Madonnina.

Fikayo Tomori is still out injured after the knock he suffered against Lazio in the 4-0 defeat.

For the next game against Sassuolo, Matteo Gabbia came into the starting eleven. That game ended 5-2 in favour of the Neroverdi and now it seems Kjaer is the man Pioli trusts against Inter.

Theo Hernandez and Davide Calabria are expected to keep their places in the defence for what could be a crucial match in Milan’s hunt for a top-four place.

Kjaer has had limited involvement this season so far due to injuries and Tomori and Kalulu’s dominance.
