It seems as though Stefano Pioli is set to make the change that a large number of fans have been asking for, with Fikayo Tomori in line to start against Roma.
Pioli’s men have indeed struggled to hit top form in the last few weeks and they will need to change the trend quickly. The race for a top-four finish is very close and three points against the Giallorossi would be massive for them. You can read our match preview here ahead of the game.
This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reports the Milan team that Pioli could field against Roma. Gianluigi Donnarumma will be in goal, with a back four formed by Davide Calabria, Fikayo Tomori, Simon Kjaer and Theo Hernandez.
In front of them will be a midfield tandem of Sandro Tonali and Franck Kessie, and supporting striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be Alexis Saelemaekers, Hakan Calhanoglu and Ante Rebic.
Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Tomori, Kjaer, Hernandez; Kessie, Tonali; Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Rebic; Ibrahimovic.
