AC Milan are prepared to sell defender Diego Laxalt this summer should an appropriate offer arrive, according to a report.
Newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that new directors Paolo Maldini and Zvonimir Boban are keen to put their own stamp on the Rossoneri squad, and part of that involves getting rid of players signed by Leonardo that are no longer needed.
Milan signed Laxalt from Genoa for €17m last summer however he struggled to displace Ricardo Rodriguez at left-back, making just 29 competitive appearances with most coming as a substitute.
Three clubs are mentioned as possible suitors for the Uruguay international including Torino and Atalanta in Serie A, pls Newcastle United from the Premier League who apparently saw an approach in January rejected.
An offer of €12m will apparently be enough to convince Maldini and co. to sell the 26-year-old, while it is reported that incoming boss Marco Giampaolo has request Napoli left-back Mario Rui.
