GdS: Milan will record small capital gain on Piatek; Poland striker will double wages | OneFootball

AC Milan will make a small capital gain on the sale of striker Krzysztof Piatek to Hertha Berlin, a report claims.

Despite strong links with a move to both Chelsea and Spurs, it is the Bundesliga side who have won the race to sign the Poland international.

Gianluca Di Marzio claims that the Hertha representatives were in Italy on Wednesday to meet the Rossoneri leadership and present a new, improved bid of €27million plus bonuses.

The negotiation proceeded swiftly and that now seems to have almost reached the white smoke, with Piatek himself having flown to Berlin last night.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport – as cited by MilanNews.it – Piatek’s adventure at Milan has indeed ended, and the club will collect a fee of €27million: a breath of fresh air for the Financial Fair Play.

The paper claims that Milan will record a mini-capital gain of €1m on the balance books, while the ‘Pistolero’ will also be better of as he is doubling his salary to €4million.
