Not many players were spared from criticism by La Gazzetta dello Sport following yesterday’s 3-0 defeat to Inter in the derby.

The paper (via MilanLive) only gave two scores of 6 out of 10: one to Zlatan Ibrahimovic – the only one who seriously tried to worry Handanovic and the Inter defence – and the other for Theo Hernandez who recovered a lot of balls and looked dangerous in brief moments.

Gianluigi Donnarumma got a 5.5 as he could do little to stop Inter’s three goals, but appears too surprised on Lukaku’s left-footed shot that beat him at the near post. The same score was given to Sandro Tonali and Ante Rebic, both of whom were good in flashes.

Simon Kjaer and Davide Calabria got a 5 out of 10 as they suffered badly with the movements of Lautaro Martinez, while Hakan Calhanoglu and Alexis Saelemaekers also received the same mark for being practically invisible.

Rafael Leao and Samu Castillejo also got a 5 as they never managed to get into the game after coming off the bench, but the worst was captain Alessio Romagnoli who got a 4.5 having been dominated by Lukaku’s speed.
