GdS: Milan have imploded without intelligence of midfield duo – Pioli’s dilemma | OneFootball

Milan have struggled as of late and will be hoping to bounce back with a win against Roma tomorrow evening. It won’t be an easy game, with the second-placed team taking on the fourth-placed one.

In the last four games, that is including Europa League, the Rossoneri have managed just two draws and two defeats. Three of those games were against Spezia and Red Star Belgrade, so there is great disappointment over the results.

As highlighted by Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Milan are missing the intelligence of Ismael Bennacer and Hakan Calhanoglu. When the former got injured, the latter stepped up and performed on a very high level.

However, after recovering from COVID, the No.10 has been subpar and the Rossoneri have really struggled without the duo in form. Bennacer could be back from injury next week, while Calhanoglu needs to regain his form as soon as possible.

Up until then, what will be the solution for Stefano Pioli? That is indeed a big dilemma.
