GdS: Milan batting PSG and Barcelona for €20m-rated Aston Villa midfielder | OneFootball

AC Milan are in a three-way battle to sign Carney Chukwuemeka from Aston Villa and they believe he could be the ideal midfield reinforcement.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via PianetaMilan), Milan are hoping to win the race for Chukwuemeka who is a technical and physical midfielder that showed his ability at the U19 European Championships. He now has offers from all over Europe, in particular from Barcelona and PSG, and he is open to a move away from the Premier League.

Aston Villa want €20m to sell this summer, but Chukwuemeka’s contract with the Birmingham club will expire in June 2023, so it seems unlikely that they will get such a high price.

Nonetheless, Villa remain hopeful of triggering an international auction for their academy product. The Rossoneri management are big admirers of the 18-year-old and he is an alternative for the midfield if a deal for Renato Sanches of Lille does not materialise.
