GdS: Milan at work to sign Bundesliga and Ligue 1 duo for less than €15m combined | OneFootball

The AC Milan management already have two signings in mind ahead of the transfer window reopening, according to a report.

Milan are currently five points clear at the top of the Serie A table and while many are beginning to believe that a top four finish will be very achievable, reinforcements are still sought in key areas.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive), the Rossoneri are moving to try and secure two profiles that have been repeatedly linked in the media, with one a defender and the other a forward.

Schalke’s Ozan Kabak is one of them, and the paper claims that he will be the big signing to reinforce the back line, but that Milan would like to spend less than €15m to sign him from the Bundesliga side who are in crisis both in terms of results and economically.

The other player is Marseille winger Florian Thauvin, who Paolo Maldini seemingly publicly declared interest in last week, much to the annoyance of Andre Villas-Boas impatient.

Regardless of everything, Milan’s strategy is to work to try and agree personal terms with the 27-year-old France international and then he would arrive in June on a free transfer.
