GdS: Lazetic ready for first Milan training session – he will meet his idol Ibrahimovic | OneFootball

After his signing was finally announced officially yesterday, today is the day that Marko Lazetic will meet his new AC Milan team-mates for the first time.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes how Lazetic is expected at Milanello today where in all probability he will have his first training session with his new team-mates under the orders of Stefano Pioli.

The Serbian centre-forward – who turned 18 a few days ago – will also have the great opportunity to meet and work with his idol Zlatan Ibrahimovic. In his locker at his previous club Red Star, Lazetic had attached a picture of the Swede in a Milan shirt showing how much he looks up to him.

In a statement on their official website, the Rossoneri confirm that Lazectic has signed a contract with the club which will run until 30 June 2026. He joins with little first team experience under his belt, but he is very highly rated by those in his own country.
