AC Milan appear to have missed out on the signing of young striker Tommaso Mancini with Juventus now close to signing him, a report claims.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive) reveals that a potential move to Milan looked on the cards but fell apart, and then Roma seemed to be the closest club to buying the Vicenza teenager, but now it is Juve who are tipped to win the race.

Mancini initially preferred the idea of joining Rossoneri over the Bianconceri but in the last few days something has changed. Juve fought hard to sign the 18-year-old by working with his entourage and now he has changed his mind.

An agreement now seems very close, both between the clubs and between the player and Juve. The Bianconeri have satisfied the requests of Tommaso Mancini on personal terms, with the player represented by his parents, and as such closure should occur soon.
