La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes how Ibrahimovic has been a constant factor in the last two teams who have fought so long for the Scudetto, including the ones in 2010-11 when they captured the title and in 2011-12 when they should have retained it.

The Swede is a leader of the squad just as he was 11 years ago in the Rossoneri’s last Scudetto-winning side. The 40-year-old is ready to experience a finale like that of 2011, but the situation is different.

The season he has fewer goals scored, while the physical problems that he continues to battle on a week by week basis have increased. His left knee in particular is a worry, so much so that there is talk of a possible new operation, and it means he may have to remain on the bench just as he did in the Atalanta win. The difference this time is that it could be his final goodbye.
