Fabrizio Romano reported on Thursday that ex-Juventus defender Tudor was the leading candidate to take over at the Allianz Stadium. Internal discussions regarding Motta’s future are still ongoing, according to the Italian transfer expert.

On the other hand, all Italian sports papers believe Motta will be given time until the next game against Genoa on March 29 but confirm Mancini and Tudor are the most likely replacements if Juventus sack their coach before the end of the season.

‘Mancini and Tudor are not afraid of the race for fourth place or the Club World Cup and would be ready to reach Turin even tomorrow,’ wrote Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Filippo Cornacchia.

Nevertheless, both coaches, currently without a club, are unwilling to sign a short-term contract and would only discuss a contract of at least 18 months, so until the end of 2025-26.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Juventus have already made contact with Tudor, while Antonio Conte and Gian Piero Gasperini remain on the agenda, but only if the Bianconeri change their coach in the summer.
