Gian Piero Gasperini attended his first day of meetings at Roma’s training center on Thursday.

Together with his agent, the Italian technician arrived at Trigoria to sign his contract and begin his first day of work for the club in the company of Claudio Ranieri and Florent Ghisolfi.

The meetings that were held served to address several key topics ahead of the summer.

One of them concerned preseason and the logistics behind Roma’s plan to train once more at England’s St. George’s in August.

Then, the manager and the two executives went over the club’s plans for the transfer window.

Gazzetta dello Sport claims Gasperini expressed the need to immediately include four starters: a central defender, a right winger, an attacking midfielder and a centre forward.
