Former Manchester United right-back Gary Neville will visit India to help push a grassroots football programme and motivate youngsters playing football in the country.
The ex-United captain is considered as one of the greatest right-backs to have played for England, winning eight Premier League titles and two Champions Leagues for the Reds.
Neville will be present in the finale of the fourth edition of Apollo Tyres flagship grassroots football programme.
The edition is called United We Play and it will be held in Chandigrah on October 18, 2024.
The grassroots initiative is supported by United to encourage young football talent across the world. It provides a platform to showcase their skills and maybe lead to one day getting spotted by scouts.
