Gareth Southgate names England squad for Ukraine and Scotland clashes

Gareth Southgate has named his England squad for the upcoming September internationals.

The Three Lions travel to Poland to take on Ukraine in their Euro 2024 qualifier on September 9.

Southgate’s side then travel to Hampden Park to face Scotland in a 150th anniversary match of the SFA.

Chelsea’s Levi Colwill has been called up after his impressive early performances but will be hoping to earn his first senior cap this time around.

His Chelsea team mate Raheem Sterling has not been included whilst Trent Alexander-Arnold has been listed as a midfielder.

Harry Maguire also keeps his place in the squad as does Jordan Henderson, despite his move to Al Ettifaq.
