🎥 Gareth Bale shows his colours ahead of move to LAFC

Gareth Bale has taken to social media in the wake of news of his surprise move to Los Angeles FC.

The 32-year-old’s contract with Real Madrid had run its course this summer, and he was subsequently linked with Cardiff City in his native Wales.

But LAFC nipped in to land the wing wizard on an initial 12-month deal, as he seeks to get into prime condition ahead of the World Cup in Qatar at the end of the year.

The deal, which will be formalised in the coming days, was reported early on Saturday. Bale later posted a video of himself in LAFC gear along with the message: “See you soon, Los Angeles. 👊”

It is quite the coup for the Californian outfit, especially after they also landed veteran defender Giorgio Chiellini after he left Juventus recently.
