Gareth Bale has announced his retirement from club and international football.
The Wales legend confirmed the decision on Monday.

A five-time Champions League and three-time LaLiga winner with Real Madrid, Bale was once considered one of the very best players on the planet.
A sensational rise with Tottenham, whom he joined from Southampton at just 17, led to a move to Madrid before he returned to Spurs on loan in 2020 and eventually ended his career in MLS with LAFC.
But above all, Bale goes down as arguably the greatest player Wales has ever produced, their most-capped player, and the Welsh national team’s all-time top goalscorer.
