Ligue 1 Uber Eats

Speculation has been bubbling over for the past couple of month as to whether Ligue 1 Uber Eats and World Cup champion Lionel Messi would stay on at the Parc des Princes - and where La Pulga would opt to end his career - and on Thursday Galtier provided some clarity.
Galtier: 'The best player in the history of football' "I've had the privilege of coaching the best player in the history of football. This year, he was an important part of the team, always available during training sessions. I think there have been some remarks and criticisms that are not at all justified," said the PSG boss, who himself is tipped to be on his way out of the Parc des Princes this summer. "When you're 35 years old and you've got statistics like that in a season with a World Cup in the middle... He has always been at the service of the team and the way the game is played." >> Messi in Paris: the defining moments Indeed, the man widely believed to be football's GOAT has had an excellent season as helped Paris Saint-Germain to another Ligue 1 Uber Eats crown: 16 goals (tenth on the scorers chart) and 16 assists (top of the assists chart) in 31 league outings - on either side of winning the one trophy that had eluded and which cemented him as the greatest of all time: the World Cup. He has racked up 30 assists over his two seasons with the capital club - that's more than any other player in Europe's top five leagues - and, with two league titles won, helped Paris Saint-Germain to become France's most successful club with a record 11th Ligue 1 Uber Eats title.

As to where Messi will land after leaving PSG and Ligue 1 Uber Eats, speculation continues concerning a return to former club FC Barcelona, a move to David Beckham's Inter Miami and an eye-waveringly lucrative offer from Saudi side Al-Hilal.
