At the request of Luis Fernando Tena, ‘Gallito’ Vázquez will reportedly re-join Chivas in the next few hours, once he passes his medical examinations.

The 19-time Mexico international arrives at the Chivas after occupying a secondary role at Santos Laguna, where he barely played 160 minutes in 11 games this past season.

He has already been seen wearing Chivas gear.

With his arrival, Jose Carlos VanRankin and Alan Cerantes will reportedly head the other way in a two-for-one swap deal.

Meanwhile, long-time Chivas target Pachuca midfielder Érick Aguirre is also in Guadalajara and is rumoured to be their fourth signing of the week, while José Juan Macías is also expected to return to the club.
