As leaked images of AC Milan’s home kit for the 2025-26 season have emerged, now is a good time to look back at the home kits in the last five seasons.

Milan always tend to debut their new home kit in the final game of the season, so it’s not a surprise to see images of the 2025-26 edition leak already. OpaLeak published an image yesterday and it’s a shirt that somewhat reminds us of 2020-21, with a twist on the logo as well.

Since the Rossoneri switched to Puma, there have been some questionable home kits, but also some very good ones. Of course, this topic will always be subjective but given the aforementioned leaks, now feels like a good time to look back at the last five home kits (see gallery below for images).

  1. 2020-21: As said, this one is somewhat similar to the leak in the sense that the stripes were a bit wider, and it also featured nice detailing that was a nod to Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. The season before, Milan had very narrow stripes (nod to the past), so it was certainly a change.
  2. 2021-22: Since it’s the Scudetto shirt, most Milan fans will have positive memories of it but compared to the other shirts made by Puma, it wasn’t great. The stripes had a very weird pattern and the v-shape neck didn’t help things either.
  3. 2022-23: This was a significant upgrade compared to the Scudetto season, obviously helped by the Scudetto patch in the centre, while the Italian colours on the sleeves were very nice as well. That being said, the fact that the stripes didn’t continue all the way certainly hurt its rating.
  4. 2023-24: Can we even call them stripes? Admittedly, this one didn’t look too bad on the pitch but it also lost a lot of the Milan core, in my opinion. It looked more like a training kit than a home kit, which should say everything.
  5. 2024-25: The feeling is that a majority of the Rossoneri fans like this season’s shirt, with a good width of the stripes and a very classic look overall. The white details on the neck and sleeves also help break things up nicely.

Returning to the 2025-26 leak for a second, the initial images certainly look nice. The only question mark, however, would be the club badge as it shouldn’t be messed with too much on the home shirt.
