As one would expect, the majority of the newspapers are filled with sections of criticism for the Italian national team, following the Euros exit against Switzerland. However, there were a coipåle of things to note about Milan.

The transfer window will officially open tomorrow and while it has been relatively quiet so far, Milan are expected to make a lot of movement. Both on the incoming and outgoing front, as the management wants to give Paulo Fonseca the team he desires.

The No.9 role is one of the main priorities and several players have been linked with the club, including Romelu Lukaku. It’s a name that certainly doesn’t excite the fans but the rumours persist, so perhaps there is something to it.

Armando Broja is another one, albeit more as a deputy, and he flirted with Milan and above all Zlatan Ibrahimovic in an interview recently.
