AC Milan’s winning run in Serie A was stopped at three games as they lost 2-1 to Fiorentina on Sunday night in an encounter that certainly wasn’t lacking in drama.

Moise Kean was the first player to miss a penalty before Milan loanee Yacine Adli gave the hosts the lead, then Theo Hernandez and Tammy Abraham each missed spot kicks. Christian Pulisic equalised, but Albert Gudmundsson scored the winner for La Viola, and Theo saw red at full-time.

Below is how the front pages in Italy look after the game on Sunday night

La Gazzetta dello Sport: “Milan fall again, Fiorentina go. All the way back. De Gea saves two penalties to Theo and Abraham. Fonseca’s fury: ‘Pulisic should have taken penalties, not them’.”

Corriere dello Sport: “Genius De Gea: Milan hit rock bottom. The former United saves Theo and Abraham’s penalties. Gudmundsson decisive in the final minutes.”

Tuttosport: “Three flops from the spot, then Gudmundsson sinks Milan.”
