Francesco Camarda is expected to play from start for AC Milan against Cagliari later today, which is huge news. As you would expect, this made the front pages of the Italkian newspapers this morning, with Camarda-mania in full swing.
Due to the injury of Alvaro Morata, who suffered a blow to his head training, Camarda will get his first start for the first team tonight. Tammy Abraham is also in the squad, but Paulo Fonseca explained during his presser that the Englishman isn’t 100% yet.
Camarda, meanwhile, has been training regularly with the first team in recent weeks and has also made appearances off the bench. Tonight will be a big step for him, and he will become the second-youngest player to start for Milan after Giuseppe Sacchi.
