Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli will meet the representatives of Porto winger Galeno in the coming hours to try and set up a deal.
The Bianconeri are still on the hunt for a new winger to replace Federico Chiesa in Thiago Motta’s squad and have been linked with a number of candidates in recent weeks, including Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi and Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho.
In the meantime, Juventus are working on a number of other deals as they look to bolster the squad before the new season, focusing on Fiorentina’s Nico Gonzalez, Nice’s Jean-Clair Todibo and Atalanta’s Teun Koopmeiners.
Gianluca Di Marzio details how a meeting has been set up between Juventus director Giuntoli and Galeno’s agents in the coming hours, where they’ll try to find some common ground in negotiations.
The 26-year-old Brazilian winger won’t come cheap from Porto but would add an exciting and creative player to Thiago Motta’s frontline. Last season, he scored 16 goals and provided 12 assists across 48 matches.
