The Los Angeles Galaxy topped Chivas 2-0 in a Leagues Cup Showcase friendly match on Wednesday night at SoFi Stadium, home of the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams.

Dejan Joveljić scored the first goal of the match for the Galaxy, beating his defender to the ball and smashing home a corner.

19-year-old Jonny Perez would score the game’s second goal, smashing his shot into the bottom corner to double his team’s lead.

Perez still has yet to score an official goal for the Galaxy, making seven appearances to date.

Chivas will travel to face Mazatlán on Friday while the Galaxy will head to Kansas City to face SKC.
