Galatasaray and Olympique Lyonnais are nearing an agreement that would see Ivory Coast international Wilfried Zaha (31) loaned out to Les Gones, according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein. Zaha is set to complete a shock deadline-day move to Pierre Sage’s Lyon after attracting interest from Premier League clubs. Zaha left Crystal Palace upon the expiry of his contract last year to join Galatasaray over a three-year contract. He logged ten goals in 43 appearances for the Istanbul-based side.
Lyon are in the market for a winger with Ernest Nuamah (20) attracting interest from Nottingham Forest and Everton. The Ligue 1 club is reportedly open to offers worth €30m for the Ghana international. Furthermore, Lyon are mostly in need of a proven goalscorer as they are yet to find the bottom of the net this Ligue 1 season. Les Gones have lost their first two games of the Ligue 1 campaign in worrying fashion against Rennes (0-3) and AS Monaco (0-2).
