Despite being Roma’s priority in the final stages of this year’s summer window, former Torino captain Andrea Belotti is also drawing interest in Europe with Galatasary being the Giallorossi’s main competitors in trying to sign the free agent.

Recently, Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk addressed the rumors regarding his side’s interest in the 28-year-old striker.

“Belotti is a concrete objective for us,” he admitted to fanatik.com.tr.

“However it is not a simple deal because the player would like to stay in Italy,” he concluded.

Before being able to sign Belotti – with whom the club have had an agreement in place since earlier in the month – Roma must first offload Eldor Shomurodov.
