Galatasaray to pick up interest in Zeki Celik

Galatasaray are expected to renew their interest in Roma fullback Zeki Celik.

The Turkish defender is unlikely to stay in the Italian capital after concluding the Euros tournament with his national team.

Celik is among the players that could leave Roma before the end of the summer.

The ex-Lille man has been famously linked with Galatasaray in the past: he was close to moving there in January but Roma’s defensive emergency situation prevented the club from approving of the transfer.

However, now the circumstances are different and Roma have put Celik on the club’s transfer list.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Galatasaray have expressed interest in him and could submit a bid in the coming weeks.
