Galatasaray submit €28m bid for Monaco’s Wilfried Singo | OneFootball

Galatasaray have submitted a €28m bid for AS Monaco defender Wilfried Singo (24), according to a report from Foot Mercato. The Ivory Coast international is open to the move, L’Équipe understands.

Singo, despite Galatasaray’s interest, was initially reticent about making the move to the Turkish club. However, with Monaco pushing him towards the exit, he has now opened the door to a move to Galatasaray.

L’Équipe understands that the Principality club’s demands are significant. A €40m valuation has been put on the defender, who this season has lost his place in the starting XI to Englishman Eric Dier.

As per Foot Mercato, Galatasaray have now submitted a bid for Singo, which is worth €28m. Monaco have not yet responded to the bid from their Turkish counterparts. At the same time, Galatasaray are engaged in talks with the Ivory Coast international’s representatives, in order to strike a deal on personal terms.
