Galatasaray prepare second offer for Porto’s Diogo Costa | OneFootball

According to a report from Foot Mercato, Galatasaray are preparing to submit a second offer for Diogo Costa (26) from FC Porto. The Portuguese goalkeeper could leave his boyhood club in the coming days if the Turkish club are forthcoming with an offer for his services.

Porto have already rejected one offer from the Turkish champions for the services of their academy product. The first offer submitted by Galatasaray is believed to be in the region of €20m. However, after seeing their first offer rejected, the Istanbul outfit are preparing to return to the negotiating table with an improved offer closer to €25m.

No rush to sign Costa

The Turkish Super League don’t face a rush to complete the signing of Costa should they reach an agreement with Porto and the goalkeeper want to make the move. Turkey’s transfer window closes ten days later than in the top 5 European league’s leaving them with an increased time to negotiate.
