Galatasaray directors were supposed to return to Turkey from Milan this morning, but they’ve remained in Italy to continue negotiations with Napoli for Victor Osimhen.
Galatasaray directors didn’t leave Milan on Friday morning as they are eager to secure an agreement with Napoli for Osimhen.
Club directors had booked a flight back home for this morning, but they’ve decided to remain in Milan.

Osimhen is happy to remain at Galatasaray beyond the summer, completing a permanent transfer, and the Turkish club have agreed to pay his €75m clause.
This, however, is not enough to close the deal as Napoli want guarantees that Galatasaray will make the required payments.

There’s still no agreement between the two clubs, but the permanence of Galatasaray directors on Italian soil suggests that negotiations will continue in the coming hours.

Osimhen spent the last season on loan at Galatasaray, scoring 37 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions and winning the Turkish league as the best player in the tournament for 2024-25.
Osimhen was the 2022-23 Serie A top scorer when his goals helped Napoli win their first Serie A title in 33 years.
