Liverpool will lock horns with Sheffield United at Bramall Lane this Wednesday night as they try to secure all three points on the road in the Premier League. The Reds managed to earn a hard-fought 4-3 win over Fulham recently which would give them a ton of confidence and self-belief ahead of this game.

Jurgen Klopp will set his team up in a 4-3-3 formation and could be inclined to make a few tweaks to his starting XI for this game. We can expect Cody Gakpo to lead the line for the Merseyside club while Darwin Nunez makes way for him and drops to the bench.

4-3-3 Liverpool Predicted Lineup To Face Sheffield United

Defence

Caoimhin Kelleher will feature in between the sticks after conceding three goals in his last league outing. Ibrahima Konate could get a chance to impress alongside Virgil Van Dijk at the centre of Liverpool’s backline as they look to keep things solid at the back during the game.

Trent Alexander-Arnold will function as the right-back after his match-winning performance against Fulham. Joe Gomez could get a chance to fill in as a makeshift left-back as Klopp looks to hand Kostas Tsimikas a rest on the bench.

Jarell Quansah has to settle for a spot on the bench as he offers cover for the centre-half positions. However, Joel Matip will be sidelined for this game because of a knee injury.

Curtis Jones, Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai will make up Klopp’s midfield. Their main focus would be to move the ball well and create some inviting opportunities for their teammates in the final third.

Ryan Gravenberch and Wataru Endo will be available for selection on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the second half if needed.

Attack

Luis Diaz will try to catch the eye as the left-winger while Mohamed Salah hopes to weave his magic from the right flank. Cody Gakpo will spearhead Liverpool’s attack down the middle. The Dutch talent would be eager to make a difference for the Reds this week.
