Defence

Caoimhin Kelleher will operate in goal for the Merseyside club looking to earn a clean sheet. Ibrahima Konate will get a chance to impress alongside Virgil Van Dijk at the centre of the Liverpool backline as they try to keep things solid at the back during the game.

Joe Gomez will feature as the right-back while Andrew Robertson hopes to impress on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to get forward and join in on the attack at every chance they get.

Jarell Quansah will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister and Curtis Jones will operate as Klopp’s central midfielders as they try to dominate the game at the centre of the park. All three of them have to move the ball well if they want to create enough chances for the Reds to secure a win this weekend.

Harvey Elliot will be named on the bench as he waits for an opportunity to make an impact in the second half of the game.

Attack

Darwin Nunez will try to catch the eye on the left flank while Diogo Jota hopes to impress as the right-sided wide player. Cody Gakpo will lead the charge for the Merseyside giants in the final third.

Luis Diaz has to settle for a spot on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the latter stages if needed.
