Gabriel Noga set to leave Flamengo on loan

Flamengo defender Gabriel Noga is reportedly close to joining Atlético Goianiense on loan until the end of the season.

Speaking to GE, Atlético Goianiense president Adson Batista confirmed that they are pushing for the deal to be done.

“Yes, we are talking,” Batista revealed.

“We have a good relationship with both the player and Flamengo and we hope it works out. There is a space for him here.”

The 20-year-old defender has featured 14 times for the Rubo-Negro but has slipped down the pecking order under new manager Paulo Sousa.

Atlético Goianiense are closing in on the Campeonato Goiano title after beating Goiás 1-0 in the final’s first leg on Satruday.
