Arsenal kicked off their United States tour with a 3-0 win over MLS side Colorado Rapids on Monday.

The Gunners named a very young line-up for their first pre-season match of the summer, most notably giving a debut to young Brazilian forward Gabriel Martinelli.

Calum Chambers also made the start in Denver after spending last season on loan at Fulham.

Impressive winger Bukayo Saka and 18-year-old James Olayinka opened their accounts within the first half-hour, giving the Gunners a two-goal lead.

Summer signing Martinelli got his goal just after the hour-mark, shouldering home a fine cross from Dominic Thompson, to seal a 3-0 win.

Arsenal will now gear up for the International Champions Cup.

The Gunners will face Bayern this Wednesday before taking on Fiorentina and Real Madrid on Saturday and next Tuesday, respectively.
