In an interview with Brazilian broadcaster ESPN, Gabriel Brazao has discussed how his move to Inter came about and how he is finding life in Europe.
“Immediately after my first tournament with the youth national team, that was played in Italy, AC Milan had shown an interest but since a very young age I have been a fan of Inter. Over time other clubs appeared and then came Inter,” the 19-year-old explained.
“I had five offers from England and Italy and Italy was a good choice for me and Cruzeiro. It was a great opportunity for me. Being an Inter fan, it was a very ambitious project and it made me very happy to join.”
“I was only 18-years-old when the move happened and I didn’t get to play among the first team but I did make the bench in Serie A 16 times with Parma. Today I am on loan to Albacete until the end of June and I have some chance to play. When I return to Inter I want to be more prepared. “
He then discussed his adaptation to European life.
“Each country have their own qualities and I try to take in as much as possible. I managed to grow a lot in seven months with Parma and this season in Spain.
“I have improved physically, technically and mentally. It has been very profitable because I’m getting ready for when I have the chance to play.”
In conclusion he spoke on his goals for the reason: “I want to help Albacete to reach the first division and have a good run in the Copa del Rey.”
