Hakan Calhanoglu is among several ‘rebels’ whose futures are hanging in the balance.

Indeed, his situation resembles Victor Osimhen, who refused to attend routine medical checks at Napoli today.

Like Calhanoglu, Osimhen is keen to join Galatasaray amid protracted negotiations between the clubs.

Calhanoglu has never expressed his desire to leave San Siro.

However, his silence speaks volumes, fueling Galatasaray’s hopes of convincing Inter to sell their stalwart.

Meanwhile, the Serie A giants turned down the reigning Super Lig holders’ initial €10 million offer.

Indeed, they are unwilling to budge on their €35m valuation of the former AC Milan ace.

As such, new manager Cristian Chivu expects to find Calhanoglu at the team’s gathering in late July.

It may not necessarily be the case, considering Galatasaray could soon revisit their interest in the Turk.

Osimhen remains Okan Buruk’s top priority, but after signing the Nigerian, they may return to Italy for Calhanoglu.
