Tijjani Reijnders has already signed a contract extension with Milan, while Christian Pulisic is expected to do the same in the coming weeks, but all the other Rossoneri stars face an uncertain future at San Siro.

Milan’s best scorers this season, Pulisic and Reijnders, are expected to remain at the club beyond the summer, even if the Rossoneri won’t play in the Champions League next season.

Reijnders signed a contract extension to 2029 last March, and according to recent reports, Pulisic is expected to do the same in the coming weeks, getting a pay rise from €4m to €5m per season.

However, there are doubts about the future of other Rossoneri stars who haven’t yet agreed to contract extensions or may receive substantial offers over the summer.

This is the case for Mike Maignan and Theo Hernandez, who have been discussing a new deal for several months without reaching an agreement.

Sunday’s printed edition of Gazzetta dello Sport confirms Theo will be offered a new deal to 2027, but not a pay rise due to disappointing performances in the current campaign.

There have been mixed reports on Theo’s future at San Siro, including some in recent days suggesting the French defender is in line for a summer return to Real Madrid.

Mike Maignan’s Milan future is also uncertain. The club is reportedly willing to give him a pay rise to €4.5m per season, but it is still not as high as expected in the last few months. Yet again, the goalkeeper’s highs and lows impacted negotiations, with Milan unwilling to offer more money to the 29-year-old, who has a contract until 2026.

As for Rafael Leao, the Portuguese has a long-term agreement until 2028, but his contract includes a €175m clause.

The Portuguese already rejected a lucrative offer from the Saudi Pro League in the January window and Gazzetta claims he wants to stay at San Siro, although his future will depend on offers that Milan will receive during the summer transfer window.
