Furlani: ‘Rafael Leao 100% staying at Milan’

Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani slammed the door firmly shut on any Barcelona speculation for Rafael Leao. ‘He is 100 per cent staying this season. Have I been clear?’

There was speculation over the last few days that the Blaugrana could make a sensational approach for the Portugal international.

He has a release clause in his contract, but that is believed to be worth €175m.

El Chiringuito TV spoke to Furlani at the Milanello training ground and received a pretty categorical answer when asking is it possible that Leao could play for Barcelona this season?

“No. Zero possibility.”

So Rafael Leao will remain at Milan this season?

“Certainly, 100 per cent.”

Even if he asked to be sold?

“He won’t. Satisfied? Have I been clear?”
