Simone Inzaghi was shown a red card in injury time of Inter’s 2-1 victory over Udinese in Serie A on Sunday evening as a result of his numerous on-pitch protests.
Inter picked up a 2-1 victory over Udinese, which keeps them at least three points clear of Napoli at the top of the standings. Marko Arnautovic and Davide Frattesi both found the net in a dominant first-half Nerazzurri display, but Inzaghi’s side were slightly more troubled after a series of substitutions midway through the second half.

Oumar Solet had pulled one back for Udinese, and Inter required a fantastic save from Yann Sommer to stop Lorenzo Lucca levelling, which added to a slightly more tense second half for the hosts.
Inzaghi had already been shown a yellow card earlier on in proceedings for continuously stepping outside of his technical area, and occasionally onto the pitch to voice his complaints to the referee.
It was the same again in second-half injury time, as a furious Inzaghi stepped about five yards onto the pitch to bellow his complaints at the match officials, which resulted in a swift sending off a few minutes from full-time.
