Real Madrid kick off their Copa de la Reina campaign this evening. The Whites go head-to-head with Fundación Albacete Women over a one-legged tie for a place in the quarter-finals (6pm CET). The match will be played at the Ciudad Deportiva Andrés Iniesta.

Toril’s side go into the clash full of confidence after starting 2023 with a thumping Madrid derby win against Madrid CFF in the Liga F. This will be the team’s second game of a demanding month, before they take on Betis three days later in the league (Sunday, 4pm CET) and contest the Spanish Super Cup next week.

Meanwhile, Fundación Albacete Women go into the clash on the back of a defeat against Deportivo in the Primera Federación (2-1). The side from Castilla la Mancha qualified for the last 16 of the Copa de la Reina after overcoming Seagull, Friol and Rayo Vallecano in the previous rounds.
