Full of Brazilians, Champions League comes with everything! Who can get along? | OneFootball

Football fans were looking forward to September 6th with great anticipation. What reason? Because the European Champions League, the most significant club competition in football, started play on that day.

Brazilians Marcelo, Casemiro, Vinicius Junior, Éder Milito, and Rodrygo were a member of the world-class Real Madrid team that won the championship for the 14th time in the club’s history last year. But who can succeed this season?

Tournament full of Brazilians

Brazilians will be in plenty in the 2022–2023 European Champions League, as usual. Although the groups are balanced, the skill of Tupiniquim football might tip the scales in favour of certain teams.

The top two clubs from each group go to the knockout round of the competition, while the third-place teams—even those who are eliminated—get the chance to participate in the Europa League, the second-most significant competition on the continent. Each group’s “flashlight” is located outside of everything.

Look up the Brazilian names who play at least one of the clubs in each key, as well as the members of each competition group.

Groups A, B, C and D

Group A is made up of Ajax, Rangers, Napoli, and Liverpool. The team with the most talent is Liverpool, which includes Brazilians Roberto Firmino, Arthur, Fabinho, and Alisson. Porto, Atlético de Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, and Brugge make up Group B. Felipe and Matheus Cunha are members of the Spanish team, the front-runner in the bracket.

Bayern, Barcelona, Inter Milan, and Viktoria Plzen are in Group C, which is seen to be the most evenly matched. The lone Brazilian with the Catalan club is Raphinha. Frankfurt, Tottenham (led by Brazilians Richarlison, Emerson, and Lucas Moura), Sporting, and Olympique are the other members of Group D.

Groups E, F, G and H

Milan, Salzburg, Dinamo Zagreb, and Chelsea make up Group E. Thiago Silva, a defender for the Brazilian squad, plays for the final club. Real Madrid (by Tupiniquins Éder Militio, Vini Jr., and Rodrygo), Leipzig, Shakhtar, and Celtic make up group F.

Manchester City, owned by the Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson, is in charge of Group G. Sevilla, Borussia Dortmund, and Copenhagen round up the group. Neymar and Marquinhos of Brazil’s PSG will be joined in the final group, H, by Maccabi Haifa, Benfica, and Juventus.

Champions League Awards

Clubs already earn a true “heap” only for taking part in the European Champions League group stage. But as they advance in status, their bank accounts get larger.

Group stage

Each group’s members get € 14.8 million (R$ 75.6 million) solely for participating in this round. Each match’s victor receives €2.8 million (about R$14.3 million), while in the event of a draw, both clubs split €930,000 (roughly R$4.7 million).
