After several weeks of intense negotiations and speculation regarding interest from other clubs, Barcelona youngster Pablo Torre will join Mallorca.
According to SPORT, the deal was finalised today, and both clubs have completed the exchange of the necessary documentation to make the transfer official.
As per the report, Mallorca will pay a transfer fee of €5 million to Barcelona for 50% of the Torre’s federative rights, meaning the Blaugrana will still retain control over the midfielder’s future.
On top of that, Mallorca will include a release clause of approximately €25 million in the Spanish starlet’s contract.

A personal agreement with the player had been in place for over a week. The footballer was highly impressed by the project presented to him after Jagoba Arrasate personally contacted the player’s inner circle to express his interest.
The Mallorca manager is a great admirer of Torre’s style of play and believes the midfielder can be the cornerstone of his project.
Torre is expected to travel to Mallorca next week to complete the transfer and begin training with his new teammates.
Torre had not been part of Hansi Flick’s plans at Barcelona and is determined to prove his worth at a club where he can get regular playing time.
Barcelona are understood to have a buyback option in Torre’s deal, meaning they can bring the player back to Camp Nou in the future.
