Fulham are said to have no intention of selling Fabio Carvalho this month, as per a recent report by The Sun.
The highly rated 19-year-old attacking midfielder is due to see his contract expire at Craven Cottage come the end of the current season, thus seeing speculation over his future in West London increase tenfold over the past few weeks.
Both Liverpool and West Ham are said to be amongst what is a long list of suitors for the youngster’s signature, with Carvalho seemingly unwilling to commit to a new contract that has been put forward to him by Fulham.
However rather than cashing in on one of their most prized assets this month, it appears that the Whites are now determined to hold onto the teenager in a bid to strengthen their promotion hopes, with a return to the Premier League said to be worth £170 million.

Fulham have still also not given up on potentially agreeing a new deal with the player and are hopeful that a promotion to the top flight could change Carvalho’s mind about staying in the long run.
The Verdict
This is a shocking yet understandable stance from Fulham as it is fair to say that this could be a very calculated risk which should pay off.
Carvalho has played a big role in helping his side to maintain their stunning recent form, so to take him out of that equation right now wouldn’t really make too much sense.
Given that he is seemingly set to leave the club anyway, it is probably in Fulham’s best interests to keep him around for as long as possible as they seek to get more out of him on the pitch.
That way they won’t have to scramble round looking for a replacement this month if they did indeed sell him.
